API Integration & Automation
Connect Tanium to the systems and workflows around it using Gateway, REST APIs, Automate, and purpose-built orchestration.
From scheduled reporting and platform administration to ticketing, CMDB, monitoring, and multi-system workflows, automation should use the right interface for the job rather than force every problem through the same one.
Tanium now exposes several different ways to automate the platform, each with a different role.
Gateway provides a GraphQL interface for querying and interacting with supported platform data. Tanium Automate provides native orchestration for a defined set of endpoint workflows. REST remains the broadest interface for operations that are not exposed elsewhere or require deeper control.
I build solutions across those boundaries.
That can mean querying endpoint state through Gateway, using Automate where its native workflow model is a good fit, calling REST APIs for platform configuration and administrative operations, or coordinating Tanium with external systems through PowerShell, C#, .NET, and supporting services.
The result is automation that is scheduled, observable, recoverable, and designed around the actual workflow rather than the limitations of a particular API.
What We Offer
Tanium API Engineering
Build against Gateway GraphQL and Tanium REST APIs for querying, configuration, administration, reporting, and custom platform operations.
Authentication, pagination, throttling, error handling, retries, and logging are treated as production requirements rather than afterthoughts.
Workflow & Orchestration
Turn manual or multi-stage operational procedures into repeatable workflows.
Where Tanium Automate provides the right primitives, use them. Where the workflow exceeds its scope, extend beyond it with APIs and external orchestration rather than forcing the process into a tool that was not designed for it.
Platform Integration
Connect Tanium with ticketing systems, CMDBs, monitoring platforms, asset systems, internal applications, and other enterprise services.
Integrations can be event-driven, scheduled, bidirectional, or designed around approval and remediation workflows.
Reporting & Data Pipelines
Extract, transform, and deliver Tanium data where it is actually consumed.
Build scheduled reports, operational dashboards, compliance feeds, historical datasets, and downstream pipelines without depending on someone manually exporting data from the console.
Beyond the Console
The console is useful for operating Tanium interactively. APIs are what make the platform part of a larger system.
Whether the goal is eliminating a repetitive administrative task, synchronizing Tanium with another platform, or building an automation workflow that spans several systems, I can help determine which Tanium interfaces belong in the design and build the pieces between them.
